The first stainless clad reinforcing bar order was successfully delivered in 2000. Given the success with Antonino Cacace's earlier generation technology, attempts to produce stainless cladded rebar via alternate technologies were then undertaken by other companies, but these did not work. Nino Cacace’s technology has to date been the only successful one.

Cladinox is a globally unique, superior technology representing the culmination of all the author's previous technologies. Cladinox was started in 2011 to globally market the technology on a licensing basis.

The US, Chinese and Japanese patents were granted 2015/2016 and Australia, New Zealand and Russia more recently. Many others have been allowed and several are pending.

An Indian Company AKS Steel and Cladinox India Ltd completed a licensing agreement in July 2016 with a production date set of August 2018. Its target markets are; the Arab Gulf, India, Indonesia and Malaysia.
